National Criminal Justice Reference Service (NCJRS) Database contains summaries of criminal justice publications, including Federal, State, and local government reports, books, research reports, journal articles, and unpublished research. 1972+
netLibrary About 4,000 full-text books on a wide variety of subjects.  
New York State Newspapers Search this database of ten major newspapers published in the state of New York, including the New York Times and the New York Post.    
New York Times Historical Full text of the newspaper from its beginning. For years after 2003 use the ProQuest database. 1851-2003
North American Immigrant Letters, Diaries, Oral Histories More than 100,000 pages of personal narratives including letters, diaries, pamphlets, autobiographies, and oral histories, providing a rich source for scholars in a wide range of disciplines. Much of the material is previously unpublished. Materials begin around 1840.

Official Records of the Union and Confederate Navies Contains reports and correspondence pertaining to naval operations, plus statistical data on the ships involved.  Union records predominate and are full and fairly complete; most of the Confederate naval archives were burned at the close of the war.  
Official Records of the War of the Rebellion This database contains the action reports, orders, telegrams of both the Union and Confederate armies from the 128 volume set published by the U. S. Government Printing Office from 1887 to 1901.

PubChem Information on the biological activities of small molecules.  
PubMED The essential comprehensive index provides access to medical journal literature. Indexes over 3,200 journals. 1966+
RIA Checkpoint RIA Checkpoint is a complete and authoritative tax research tool with tax law, regulations, expert analysis, practitioner insight, tax-related news, cases and rulings in one database. Contact your tax course professor, or Sean Maloney in the Library, for access.  
ScienceDirect Over 900 high-quality research journals in full-text, primarily in the sciences, but includes some in the humanities and social sciences. Provides abstracts and citations for another 800 titles. 1997+Full-text

SPIN (Physics) Provides the most current indexing and abstracting of more than 100 major physics, astronomy, and engineering journals and conference proceedings. Updated daily, it has over 1 million abstracts. 1975+
STAT-USA A service of the U.S. Dept. of Commerce is the site for the U.S. business, economic and trade community, providing authoritative information from the Federal government. Especially helpful for export-import statistics.  
TRIS Online The Transportation Research Information Service online database provides access to almost 600,000 records of published transportation research, making it the most comprehensive source for this topic.  
Twayne's Authors Contains the full text of 600 frequently used Twayne Literary Masters books on individual World, U.S., or English authors.  
U.S. Industry & Market Outlook 2007

Describes over 100 major U.S. industries and 500+ minor industries. Published each year, the Outlook report provides the most current and accurate estimates of the size of the largest manufacturing, retail, wholesale and services industries in the United States.
