Coordinator Responsibilities
Class Coordinators will
serve as points of contact for
Alumni Relations
and Alumni themselves. Coordinators
will compile stories, updates, Please begin to contact your Class Coordinator directly for all Class Notes submissions once the position for your class has been filled. Coordinators will receive a Style Guide, outlining some of the various formalities that have been put into place as a result of the new style change. The change to Siena News comes in the wake of Siena’s ever present desire to enhance its community oriented atmosphere and structure. Siena’s Franciscan Traditions support family values and promote community minded individuals; it is our desire to further align ourselves with these ideals. Please contact the Alumni Office at alumni@siena.edu if you are interested in coordinating the Class Notes for your class year!
Coordinator Instructions ! Be personal, show your creative side, make this column your own; ! Show the readers what your class has been up to, do more than just report it; ! Try to include as many of your classmates as possible; this is a new process: volunteers are the movers and shakers! ! Use your discretion: condense notes that you feel need to be condensed. Be respectful but concise; ! Be energetic: the effort that you put into this will come through in your column. Encourage enthusiasm by being enthusiastic; ! Make the most of the space that your class is given: What would you like to read? What have you not seen or read that you wish would have been there, or what would you have liked to have included in past issues that simply did not fit because of the old format; ! Have fun! This process shouldn't take long, but it will help you reconnect with your Siena pals! Please contact the Alumni Office at alumni@siena.edu if you are interested in coordinating the Class Notes for your class year!
